History

Millwork One began producing architectural millwork in a 13K sq. ft. facility located on Pettaconset Avenue in Warwick RI in 1989 with a small group of talented craftsmen. Millwork One quickly became known as the “go to millworker” for a comprehensive package with competitive pricing. Aligning itself with strong vendors and field labor with a commitment to high quality service initiated substantial market share growth in multiple verticals.

In 1996 it became apparent that Millwork One had outgrown its current facility and a new 35K sq. ft. building was purchased and outfitted for production, continuing the quality and service it had established but on a larger scale.

In 2002 a new management team with a progressive vision was introduced. Among a few implementations was companywide employee empowerment, Lean Manufacturing techniques, Green Building Initiatives & Sustainability, a focus on a plant environment that drove greater workforce safety etc. This culture revitalized the company and spurred another substantial growth period that moved us to our current state of the art 80K sq. ft. facility in 2008.

Today Millwork One is a highly acclaimed and sought after firm providing the highest level of quality and service to its longtime clients and new found friends. Current revenues exceed $35M with strong bonding capacity and superior financial strength.
