Our Green Initiative

Millwork One, in our 25th year of business, is making great strides in our green initiative pact to become a responsible partner in helping preserve the environment and natural resources in New England and beyond.

We are excited to announce that playing a major role in achieving this goal is the installation of a 500kw solar photovoltaic roof system. Our system is made up of 1500 X-Series commercial solar panels manufactured in the USA by Sunpower Corp. These panels will generate over 600,000kWh of clean energy each year offsetting the majority of our annual consumption. The solar rooftop farm will also aid National Grid’s ever growing demand for green power while reducing our carbon footprint. This exciting project was commissioned in December 2013.
